Meet Our Founder:

As a Self-Love and Intuitive Coach, I’ve been guiding women since 2018 on their journey to heal, rediscover their self-worth, and tap into their inner power. I believe deeply in the power of self-awareness and intuition to transform lives, and my approach blends these elements with holistic wellness and restorative practices. My passion is to create a safe, supportive space where women can reconnect with their authentic selves and feel empowered to embrace their purpose. At Women on Wednesday, I’m dedicated to walking alongside women as they cultivate self-love, heal from past trauma, and step fully into their potential.

More About Our Founder

My journey began with a simple yet profound vision: to create a safe, supportive space where women could come together, share their stories, and uplift each other. Through WOW, I've been able to bring this vision to life, offering workshops, support groups, and events that are not just educational but also deeply restorative. From our Self Love workshops for teen girls & women to our EmpowerHer entrepreneurship events, every aspect of WOW is designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

But beyond my professional endeavors, I'm a mother of 3, serial entrepreneur, and creative at heart. I grew up in North Minneapolis, MN as the oldest of 5 and raised by a resilient single mom. I currently run a candle business called Magical Hour Candles & Co., where I craft intention candles that help others manifest their dreams and embrace self-care. I’m also developing a podcast and a journal aimed at helping women heal from past traumas and restore relationships, further extending my commitment to personal growth and empowerment.

In my work, I’ve faced challenges, including imposter syndrome, anxiety, and even depression. I’ve learned that vulnerability is a super power and that showing up as my authentic self allows me to connect more deeply with the women & youth I serve. I’m passionate about fostering a sense of belonging, whether through WOW's support groups, our fun networking events and workshops or our upcoming projects we’re developing for women who’ve experienced trauma.

At the core of everything I do is a desire to uplift women, particularly those in underrepresented communities, and to ensure they have the tools, support, and encouragement they need to succeed. The same way I needed support. Whether it's through holistic wellness practices, entrepreneurial coaching, or simple acts of kindness, I’m committed to making a positive impact on the lives of women and their families.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. Together, we can continue to cultivate a community with spaces where women & youth feel seen, heard, and empowered to be their best selves. - Vannesia
